Despite its short history of 4 years of existence, Lambda School has already demonstrated great success through its students’ accomplishments. Several students have performed as soloists with major orchestras, and many have garnered grand prizes in national (including the Canadian Music Competition) and international competitions. Lambda students have also performed abroad including the US, France, German, Italy and Korea. In 2012, five students have been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall (with the youngest pianist being just 8 years old). We are proud to announce that our students will be performing at Place des Arts in November 2012 with the WSO, with Mrs. Olivia Chow (wife of Jack Layton) as our Honorary chairperson.
Lambda’s mission is to provide the highest quality in education to the community and offer opportunities for talented students to establish a career path. Its programs are meticulously structured for professional quality training. It also offers opportunities for students to perform and to advance their careers - which is rare for any private musical institution.
At Lambda, we apply a very unique methodology in our pedagogical approach, and is highly effective in accelerating the learning process. Whether you wish to learn for fun, for examinations or to develop a career in music and arts, you will experience an unprecedented level of accomplishment in the learning process.
